The Epistle to the Philippians was developed as a companion volume to the 12-lesson video series on the book of Philippians by Doyle Gilliam. As a result, the book closely follows what is spoken in the videos, providing the student who is watching the DVDs with almost a printed transcript of the teacher's lectures. Also serves as a simple commentary on the book of Philippians and as an introduction to the book.
