The
Extraordinary Women of Bible audio series features 9 lessons preached by Richard Cravy at the Tanglewood Church of Christ in Odessa, Texas in 2009. The series features one biblical character in each lesson and also includes an introductory lesson.
The 9 lessons are:
- Extraordinary Women Introduction: A Brief Survey of the part women play in the Bible.
- Eve: "Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living." (Genesis 3:20)
- Sarah: Sarah was most outstanding for her trust in the promise of God and her dedication to her husband.
- Ruth: The story of Ruth is one of the great love stories of all history.
- Hannah: She prayed for years that God would give her a child ñ and when He did, she gave him back to God!
- Anna: 84 years old, and a widow for most of her life, Anna lived simply and expectantly in the outer courts of the great Temple in Jerusalem.
- The Woman of Sychar: Samaritans were a mixed race with a mixed up religion. This is the story of the "Woman at the Well" who met Jesus.
- Lydia of Thyatira: This successful business woman was not Jewish, but worshiped their God.
- Priscilla: Aquilla and Priscilla were a husband and wife team who became close companions of the Apostle Paul.
