Charles Hodge is a prolific and frequently quoted writer. From his church bulletin to his books, the things Hodge has to say are on target with what is happening among believers today. His wit allows him to speak with compassionate power.
Amazing Grace! is the lastest and perhaps best example of Hodge's ability to focus on a need and to address it with practical insights from Scripture.
Avoiding legalism on the one hand and "cheap grace" on the other, this book pleads for a sound doctrine. This doctrine must be primary in the preaching of the gospel, for the gospel is the message of God's free and gracious gift of eternal life in Jesus.
