1. The Gray Eagle, by Truman Scott -- a biography of Cline R. Paden (1919-2007). Cline was a missionary in Italy and Denmark in post World War II Europe. In 1962, having seen the need for more men to preach the gospel, he began the Latin American Bible School in Lubbock, Texas to train Spanish speaking gospel preachers. The name was changed in 1964 to the Sunset School of Preaching because of the interest by English-speaking men in also being trained. The school continues today as the Sunset International Bible Institute, having trained thousands of men and women to serve in the Church of Christ around the world. It also now has over 100 partner schools in 40+ other nations using the same curriculum and methods to train preachers and teachers in their native tongues. 292 pages, paperback.
