To trace, in part, the work of God in history as he moved it toward the grand finale in Jesus.3. To show the intimate connection between the Old Testament pattern and the New Testament reality. This is shown especially well in the book of Leviticus and sections of Exodus. 4. To demonstrate clearly the graciousness of God in making promises to man and his faithfulness in the fulfilling of them. 5. To thoroughly acquaint the student with the people, places, culture, conduct and events brought before him in these six books. The emphasis in the study will be the knowing, of the material. .
