In 1962, having seen the need for more men to preach the gospel, he began the Latin American Bible School in Lubbock, Texas to train Spanish speaking gospel preachers. The name was changed in 1964 to the Sunset School of Preaching because of the interest by English-speaking men in also being trained. The school continues today as the Sunset International Bible Institute, having trained thousands of men and women to serve in the Church of Christ around the world.
