The Cline Paden Book Bundle has:
- The Gray Eagle, by Truman Scott -- a biography of Cline R. Paden (1919-2007). Cline was a missionary in Italy and Denmark in post World War II Europe. In 1962, having seen the need for more men to preach the gospel, he began the Latin American Bible School in Lubbock, Texas to train Spanish speaking gospel preachers. The name was changed in 1964 to the Sunset School of Preaching because of the interest by English-speaking men in also being trained. The school continues today as the Sunset International Bible Institute, having trained thousands of men and women to serve in the Church of Christ around the world. It also now has over 100 partner schools in 40+ other nations using the same curriculum and methods to train preachers and teachers in their native tongues. 292 pages, paperback.
- Broken by Fruitfulness -- the first volume of sermons and writings by Cline Paden focusing on world evangelism and preacher training. 207 pages, paperback.
- From Caves to Cathedrals -- Volume two of Cline Paden's sermons and articles on evangelistic missions and the Great Commission mandate. 177 pages, paperback.
- Come Before Winter -- Volume 3 of Cline Paden's sermons and writings. Reflecting both his world evangelism concern as well as his shepherd's heart as a longtime elder of the Sunset Church of Christ. 242 pages, paperback.
Reading The Gray Eagle, along with observing the continuing work of the Sunset International Bible Institute, shows the revolutionary impact that the dream of one faithful believer in the Great Commission can have on the cause of Christ in our modern world.
Reading any of the three sermon books will provide preachers and teachers with a wealth of material to inspire their own preaching and teaching while also fanning into flame a commitment to the commission all have received from the Lord Jesus!
