Jim McGuiggan is a native of Belfast, Northern Ireland. In 1965 he and his family came to Lubbock, Texas to attend Sunset School of Preaching. After graduation, he returned to Northern Ireland to teach for six years in the North Ireland Bible School. He returned to Sunset in 1973 and taught in the school for nine years. Since 1982 he and his wife Ethel have lived and worked in Belfast. He continues to visit the States and speak at lectureships and workshops. He has also written a number of commentaries and other books.
